Then join our Mechanical Manufacturing team and contribute your expertise to the success of a global technology leader.To strengthen our team, we are looking for a CNC Machinist (m/f/x) – Turning & Grinding Technology at the earliest possible date.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and program CNC turning and/or grinding machines.
  • Perform turning and grinding operations on long workpieces, particularly industrial rolls.
  • Machine high-quality precision components according to technical specifications.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues and machine malfunctions.
  • Carry out quality assurance measures before, during, and after turning and grinding operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of CNC turning and grinding equipment.
  • Complete all required production and process documentation.
  • Participate in regular shopfloor management activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, productivity, and workplace safety.
  • Inspect and verify workpieces using appropriate measuring and testing equipment.


You have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • Completed vocational training as a CNC Machinist (m/f/x) or an equivalent technical qualification.
  • Relevant professional experience in roll grinding is an advantage.
  • Experience machining large-scale components (more than 3,000 mm in length and 600 mm in diameter).
  • Strong commitment to quality and a high level of technical understanding.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings with confidence.
  • Independent, reliable, and resilient working style.Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • High level of commitment, motivation, and openness to new challenges.
  • Willingness to work in a shift system (Monday to Friday).
